Appeals to challenge real estate
tax assessments in Allegheny County must be filed by March 31, 2004. Appeal

On June 8, Governor Ridge signed Act 18 of 2001 into law, effective July 1, 2001. Act 18 includes revisions to Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial

ACT 43 of 2000 has altered the requirements of the Decennial
Filing. The Decennial Filing deadline has been delayed from December 31, 2000 to
December 31, 2001. In addition, Fictitious Names are no longer subject to the
